I have had the pleasure of working as a cultural manager in the performing arts field for the past fifteen years, where I was lucky to exchange and collaborate with a wide range of artists, cultural promoters and programmers in Switzerland and Europe.
Here you will find a selection of past and present activities. For a detailed account of my professional curriculum, please visit my page LinkedIn.
Manager – Krassen Krastev / 2017 – 2019
I assisted choreographer Krassen Krastev in the development of his new project CLSTRS with management, touring and dramaturgy help. His new production premiered at Arsenic in Lausanne (CH) in February 2019, and was on tour in April 2019 at festival zürich moves! (CH), at DNK Performance Art Space in Sofia (BG), and at Théâtre de l’Usine Geneva (CH). More on this in the news.
Manager – Reso Dance Network Switzerland / 2013 – 2016
Operating under a mandate from regional and national public subsiding bodies, Reso – Dance Network Switzerland as the national competence center for dance aims at improving the framework conditions in the artistic discipline. It coordinates programs and projects with more than 200 partners per year.
As head of Reso between 2013 – 2016, I had the pleasure of setting up and piloting various programs and projects with a team of six, i.e. the international dance platform Swiss Dance Days, the Switzerland-wide audience development festival Fête de la Danse / Tanzfest, the national meeting of the branch Forum Dance. Coordinating the members’ network of professional dance organizations in Switzerland as well as cooperation and representation abroad (IETM, ACCN – Les CCN ont 30 ans, Aerowaves, Tanzplatform Deutschland…) led to various enriching exchanges, and the chance to develop a solid understanding of dance, especially in the Swiss context. It was a great pleasure and honor to be part of this adventure!
Secretary general – AVDC / 2008 – 2012
The professional dance organization AVDC Association vaudoise de danse contemporaine active in my home canton of Vaud, gave me the opportunity to dwell into the dance field. Thanks to a dynamic and generous environment, AVDC was able to grow, and alongside my knowledge of dance as a professional and an artistic field.
I was lucky to set up promotional events and programs related to contemporary dance (Fête de la Danse de Lausanne, Video Archive, Audience Development program…) and accompany the professional dance scene (advisory office, training program, conferences).
